The DisplayPort is a very high-quality and universal connection standard that transmits both video and audio signals in the best possible digital quality. In the PC sector, the standard is primarily used for connecting graphics cards to flat screens or televisions. DisplayPort connections also support encryption via HDCP.

The length of the DisplayPort cable (1 meter) is designed to connect the HTC Vive Pro link box directly to the DisplayPort of the graphics card. Of course, the DisplayPort is also compatible with the DVI interface via an optional adapter, which allows for direct transmission of content from DVD players to TFT screens (video signals only).
