PE Boot Device Options provide enterprise customers with turnkey, fail-safe boot solutions that seamlessly separate the operating system from the data storage layer in current operating systems for virtualized environments – VMware, Linux, Windows. The NS204i appears to your management interface as a single, directly connected NVMe drive and not as a RAID controller. Since the NS204i is a hardware boot unit, only RAID-1 mode is supported and it does not operate in any other RAID mode. The NS204i is plug and play, requiring no configuration or management of the device. Always ensure you are using the latest HPE iLO version and update the server BIOS, firmware, and drivers as they become available.
