The HPE SR Gen10 Plus controllers support 12 Gbit/s SAS and PCIe 4.0, making them excellent for maximizing performance. They also support advanced RAID levels with up to 8 GB Flash-Backed Write Cache (FBWC). These tri-mode controllers (SAS/SATA/NVMe) operate in mixed mode, allowing RAID and HBA operations to be performed simultaneously, providing greater flexibility in deployment. The HPE SR Gen10 Plus controllers can support internally connected drives, enabling integration with existing hardware. Additionally, these controllers feature HPE SmartRAID SR Secure Encryption for data at rest using Controller-Based Encryption (CBE) for SAS, SATA, and NVMe devices, thereby improving reliability.
