Show more The HP Spectre 13-v050nz is a spectacularly slim, lightweight yet powerful all-round notebook. Its case is made of a combination of carbon fiber and aluminum. It therefore weighs only 1.11 kg and is only 10.4 mm thin at its thickest point. With its sixth-generation Core i5 processor, 8 GB of memory and integrated graphics solution, it can easily handle even the most demanding graphics and multimedia applications. Pleasure for the senses With its Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the 13.3" display delivers a sharp image in an aspect ratio widely used for multimedia files. The IPS panel combines a brilliant colour display with a wide viewing angle. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass cover. The multimedia enjoyment is completed by a high-end sound system from Bang & Olufsen with four integrated speakers. Communication talent In terms of connectivity, its features are also impressive: In local networks, you enjoy fast Internet access and rapid data exchange thanks to the 802.11ac WLAN standard. The WLAN module also supports Miracast for wireless video streaming and Bluetooth 4.2 for communication with mobile devices. For peripherals and storage media, use one of the three USB-C ports, including one in the 3.0 standard and, as a special highlight, two in the Thunderbolt 3 standard. Thunderbolt 3 interface The Thunderbolt 3 connector is the racy all-rounder among the peripheral interfaces: It's identical in form factor to the current USB Type C connector, making it easily compatible with USB Type C devices. But its speed leaves other peripheral ports far behind: 83x faster than USB 2.0, 8x faster than USB 3.0, and twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2, making it possible to connect a wide range of peripherals in series, as well as the most hardware-hungry extensions - from 4K monitors to external graphics cards. Sixth generation Intel Core processor Intel's sixth-generation core processors (Skylake) combine the high performance of the fourth generation with the economical 14-nm architecture of the fifth generation. Newly supported are also faster DDR4 memory and additional PCIe 3.0 lanes. Thanks to DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.4, the integrated graphics core also supports more demanding graphics and 3D applications. Turbo Boost" technology accelerates demanding applications and dynamically adjusts performance to your needs, giving you more power or less power, depending on your requirements. Lightning-fast memory As mass storage, a solid-state disk (SSD) with 256 GB capacity provides the necessary storage space for your programs and files. The main advantage of SSDs are the fast access times and high read and write speeds that put conventional hard disks in the shade. Another advantage is that SSDs contain no moving parts. This leads to increased robustness, as no parts wear out mechanically. In addition, SSDs are thus absolutely noiseless. Windows 10 Windows 10 is familiar and easy to use. It combines the best features of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 and enhances them with new features that make using your computer even faster and easier. For example, Task View keeps you organized even when you have many windows open at once, and the new Search feature makes finding your files faster and easier. You'll find these and many other new features in Windows 10.
