The Hoya HMC Super Pro1 are professional UV filters with exceptionally high transmission and perfect color balance. They offer increased durability due to the hardened glass. UV filters cut out unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduce haze, and enhance clarity. Additionally, the UV filter serves very well as a protective glass for the lens. The filter is multi-coated 12 times and provides a transmission of 99.7%. It is made of reinforced glass and is 40% lighter than conventional filters. The 3 mm filter frame is excellent for wide-angle shots with a front thread.
