Product details

Improved protection and durability with the Hoya UV HD Nano Filter.

With regular filters, coatings are not permanent as they can be damaged by cleaning with wipes, which weakens them over time. While the filter can protect the lens from physical damage, the coating is the first to wear off in such cases.

For this reason, Hoya has developed a special ultra-hard nano-coating. The chemically reinforced optical glass is four times stronger than commonly used protective glasses and features a UV cut curve that does not affect the visible light spectrum. Additionally, the filter has a new high-performance coating that protects the lens from abrasion while allowing for easy cleaning of water spots and fingerprints.

Designed to protect the expensive lens system of a camera from scratches and impacts, the HD Nano Filter is an essential piece of equipment for photography in extreme conditions.

Electric coating.

The newly developed coating adheres more firmly and closely at the nano level to the glass surface than previous coatings. This results in particles being layered with extremely high density on the glass surface, creating a hard and smooth coating. In addition to its ultra-hard and smooth properties, the Hoya HD Nano coating has excellent water and oil-repellent characteristics, making filter maintenance simple and stress-free.

Tempered glass.

Tempered optical glass that has four times the break resistance.
