The Hosa DIB-443 Sidekick is a passive direct box that can be used to connect electronic musical instruments such as guitar, bass, or keyboard directly to a mixing console. An isolating transformer converts a signal at instrument level into a signal at line level. The compact box can also be used with pedal effects or effect processors. The Sidekick can produce a pure and clean sound without noise, making it ideal for digital signal processing (DSP). When the INST/LINE switch is set to LINE, a naturally overdriven sound is heard through the amplifier.
