HomeMatic RS485 gateway
Product details
Communication with connected HomeMatic devices occurs via the HomeMatic Wired protocol.
The compact design in a 2TE standard DIN rail housing allows for easy installation on standard DIN rails in electrical distribution alongside HomeMatic Wired devices.
By pairing the HomeMatic Wired RS485 Gateway with the HomeMatic central unit CCU2, the HomeMatic Wired system can be flexibly controlled from anywhere in the house.
Communication between the Wired RS485 Gateway and the central unit CCU2 is possible through the existing Ethernet network infrastructure in the house (TP cable, powerline, WLAN), eliminating the need for additional bus wiring in the house.
