Start your smart home journey easily. The Homematic IP Access Point 2 makes it particularly comfortable to enter the smart home world. With the intuitive Homematic IP app, you can centrally set up, control, and expand all devices in the system. Communication is securely handled via the Homematic IP Cloud.

Installation: The access point is simply connected to the router via a network cable and powered using the included power adapter. It can be placed flat on a surface or mounted on the wall to save space – the necessary mounting materials are already included. Setup is conveniently completed in just a few steps using the Homematic IP app: simply connect the device, scan the QR code, and the setup will start automatically.

Configuration: With the free Homematic IP app, you can set up your smart home in no time. All other Homematic IP products are intuitively learned and can be configured individually. Up to 15 users can access a system. Multiple installations, such as in a vacation home, can also be easily controlled via the app. In conjunction with the Homematic IP Wired Access Point, integration of Homematic IP Wired components is also possible – for even more flexibility.

Control: Once set up, you maintain full control at all times via the Homematic IP app. Additionally, the smart home system can be conveniently operated using voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The app's intuitive user interface allows for easy control, individual adjustments, and quick access to all functions – wherever you are.
