Safely detect movements outdoors: Easily detect movements in front of your door or garage and control the lighting with the smart Homematic IP motion detector with switching actuator. The Homematic IP motion detector monitors the outdoor area and turns on the light or triggers an alarm upon motion detection. With three individually configurable motion detection zones, precise and seamless coverage without false triggers is ensured.

The powerful detection range of up to 20 meters and a detection angle of 180° enable reliable and intelligent monitoring of the outdoor area.

Installation: The Homematic IP motion detector can be flexibly mounted outdoors thanks to its weatherproof housing (IP44) and wide temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. With a power supply of 230 V, no battery operation is required.

Fail-safe: An alarm can be triggered even with an inactive internet connection, as Homematic IP smart home devices communicate directly with each other.

Twilight sensor: The integrated twilight sensor reports the brightness level of the detected outdoor area to the Homematic IP app. This allows optionally connected outdoor lights to automatically turn on and off.

Smart highlight: The switching actuator of the motion detector enables, for example, the linking of additional Homematic IP motion detectors for better coverage of the monitored area. Additionally, by integrating into switching groups, multiple actuators can be activated simultaneously upon motion detection.
