Product details
Homematic IP interface for smart meters allows you to monitor electricity consumption via an app and smartly utilize the data. With a glance at your smartphone, you are always informed about the electricity usage in your home. The Homematic IP interface for smart meters displays the data from the electricity meter both in real-time and retrospectively. It is also possible to use the measured values for smart automations.
The interface is installed directly on the electricity meter. Electronic electricity meters have an optical data interface embedded in a metal plate. The Homematic IP interface is magnetically fixed and then integrated into the smart home via the Homematic IP app.
You can conveniently read the electricity consumption via your smartphone. All data collected by the Homematic IP interface for smart meters is immediately forwarded to the Homematic IP app. This way, you can easily view both current and past electricity consumption at any time. All meter readings and the current power are transmitted.
A special highlight is the continuous measurement of power values, which can trigger various smart scenarios. For example, if electricity is fed in from a PV system, the Homematic IP interface for smart meters recognizes this. With a connected Homematic IP actuator, this produced electricity can then be effectively utilized.
A tip: By continuously capturing and storing the measurement data, consumption can also be visualized and analyzed retrospectively, ensuring there are no surprises with your next electricity bill.
Key features:
1. Captures current electricity consumption directly at the meter and forwards the data to the Homematic IP app. By storing the measurement data, consumption can also be monitored retrospectively over the long term.
