The most flexible Homematic IP central unit meets today’s and future demands for your individual smart home. The Homematic IP Home Control Unit is the central place for your smart home devices. You can integrate up to 120 wireless components as well as hundreds of wired devices via a connectable Wired Access Point. You can then conveniently control your entire smart home via an app – either through the cloud or locally, according to your preferences.

Installing the Homematic IP Home Control Unit is incredibly simple: first, connect the Homematic IP Home Control Unit to your router using the supplied network cable or utilize the Wi-Fi installation. Then, the Homematic IP app will guide you step by step through the installation process. Done. The attractively designed Home Control Unit in white or anthracite stands securely on a stable surface. However, you can also mount the central unit on a wall using the included bracket.

Integrating your Homematic IP wireless components is also quick and easy via the app. Remote devices are reliably incorporated into the system – thanks to a wireless range of up to 400 meters. If you want to integrate wired components as well, first connect a Homematic IP Wired Access Point. You can also use the CCU3 as a gateway to manage existing CCU3 installations through the Home Control Unit or to automatically migrate Homematic IP devices.

Once set up, you can conveniently control, expand, modify, and monitor your entire smart home via the Homematic IP app and with voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – of course, even while on the go.
