Product details
In almost every genre of music, the bass serves as the foundation upon which everything else is built. This applies to harmonica ensembles just as much as to any other. It is not easy to construct a reed instrument that can deliver the necessary quick response and volume in lower registers up to E (E2) that are required in a group – our professional bass harmonicas can do just that. Featuring a two-part construction held together with hinges and equipped with two reeds per channel, which are exactly one octave apart, they produce a rich, powerful sound. The lower pairs are always positioned on the inside to ensure even microphone placement and emphasize the bass. Just like the Chord 48, this model has also been revised to optimize volume, handling, and maintenance. The mouthpiece is integrated into the acrylic comb body for better air tightness, and the fully screwed construction makes maintenance easier. The Bass 58 is the smaller of our two bass models, with a range of E – e’ (E2 – E4), making it ideal for all harmonica ensembles.
