Description CAN-CR210/FO - Fiber optic version with ST connector for cascading converter from ISO 11898-2 to optical fiber. The CAN-CR210/FO is used to convert the CAN signal from copper (ISO 11898-2) to optical fiber. This achieves complete galvanic isolation and protection against electromagnetic interference. For the construction of star or tree topologies, the CAN-CR210/FO can be cascaded (also in conjunction with the CAN-CR200) and can be assembled into a star coupler. The connection is made via a DIN rail bus. A special feature of the repeater is that it isolates a faulty segment from the rest of the network, allowing the remaining network to continue operating. Once the fault is resolved, the segment is automatically reactivated.
