The HighPoint SSD6204A is a powerful RAID controller specifically designed for use with four M.2 NVMe drives. It features a PCIe Gen3 x8 interface that allows for high data transfer rates of up to 8 Gbit/s. This controller supports various RAID levels, including 0, 1, and Single, making it versatile enough to meet data security and performance requirements. The SSD6204A is bootable and offers broad support for various operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, as well as server operating systems like Windows Server 2016 and 2019. The configuration and management of the RAID system can be done through UEFI, CLI, or a WebGUI, ensuring user-friendly handling. Additionally, the controller is equipped with a Storage Health Inspector (SHI) that enables active monitoring of SMART data, temperature, and TBW (Terabytes Written) to ensure the integrity of the storage media.
