However, if heat-shrink products with internal adhesive are only needed occasionally, the required storage space and procurement effort can be too high. Helashrink HMT200A tape is the optimal solution: heat-shrinkable tubes or molded parts with internal adhesive no longer need to be stored separately. The workpiece is simply wrapped with the tape, overlapping it. A heat-shrink tube is then positioned over it and shrunk. During shrinking, the adhesive melts and spreads evenly for optimal moisture protection.
