With two of Hartke's patented 10" HyDrive neodymium magnets and a 500-watt Class D amplifier housed in a sleek, 16 kg enclosure, the HD500 bass combo delivers an exceptional bass sound for rehearsal spaces, stages, and studios.

HyDrive speakers feature meticulously crafted paper/aluminum hybrid drivers. This hybrid construction provides an extraordinary blend of warmth and attack that traditional paper woofers cannot achieve. The use of rare-earth neodymium magnets also contributes to the speaker's lightweight design without sacrificing the legendary Hartke attack.

In addition to the flawless sound of the HyDrive speakers, the HD500 offers tremendous power in an extremely portable design. Its lightweight Class D amplifier produces an impressive 500 watts of power, capable of filling any rehearsal room, recording studio, or stage. And with a total weight of just 18 kg, the HD500 can be easily transported anywhere a powerful bass sound is needed, thanks to its molded carrying handle.

As a result of Hartke's long-standing commitment to the bass community, the HD500 features a selectable Shape control. This function activates a special preset EQ curve that enhances your tone by selectively boosting and cutting across the entire frequency range. The adjacent variable Shape filter and 3-band EQ provide further customization options. With the exceptional sound of the HyDrive speakers in a rugged, highly portable enclosure, the Hartke HD500 bass combo is capable of delivering performance that far exceeds that of an ordinary bass combo.
