Rear lens filter compatible with the Nikon Nikkor Z 14-24 mm f/2.8. A rear lens filter is a neutral density (ND) filter that is directly inserted into the lens mount. This has two advantages: first, neutral density filters are relatively small and do not require much space; second, such filters are significantly cheaper than a filter holder system that is mounted in front of the lens. For ultra-wide-angle lenses with a bulging front lens or a fixed lens hood, filters with a width of 150 mm are required, and these filter holder systems are expensive and bulky to transport. Therefore, rear lens filters are a good choice for long exposures in landscape or architectural photography. The set includes filters ND 0.9, ND 1.2, ND 1.8, and ND 3.0, which reduce exposure by 3, 4, 6, and 10 stops, respectively. The filters are made from optical glass, ensuring clarity and color fidelity. To avoid internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface is coated with 10 layers of anti-reflective coating, which better protects the filter substrate and helps keep it clean for a longer period. The nanocoating of these neutral density filters provides an additional layer that enhances the water and oil repellency effect when their surfaces come into contact with liquids, allowing for more efficient cleaning. A plastic case is included for storage and transport.
