Product details
Impressive photographs using a neutral density filter
A neutral density filter (ND filter) allows for an extended exposure time. This makes people or vehicles in the image invisible, which can be useful when wanting to capture architectural shots without any personnel. This way, anyone can take stunning architectural photos.
The ND filter reduces the amount of light entering through the lens, enabling the use of a larger aperture. This is necessary when the subject to be photographed needs to stand out against a blurred background or when a motion blur effect is desired through long exposure. For example, falling water can be better photographed, especially when the ambient light is too bright.
With this set, you will always have the right filter on hand for any situation or in front of the lens.
Note: This ND filter typically does not affect the camera's automatic exposure measurement. Therefore, it can be used in all automatic modes (e.g., P, Av, Tv). However, with some DSLRs, it may be necessary to cover the viewfinder to prevent incoming light from skewing the exposure measurement.
