The proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing is hidden in the elegant mahogany finish of the reissue of the Swede Bass. Like its six-string sister, this beautifully designed single-cut deep bass with a short scale features two humbuckers and a 3-way tone filter circuit. The balanced, almost piano-like sound, which emerges both in the individual pickup positions and naturally in the combination setting, offers a rich bass foundation with finely detailed overtones. Additionally, the humbuckers can be individually split to single-coil operation via the tone pots, providing an even richer sound output. It also features a Graphtech Tusq nut, a Resinator fingerboard with 22 frets, and a bridge consisting of a long-travel Tune-O-Matic and a tailpiece with four individual brass elements.
