The weather station KNX easy with GPS is a compact device for pole or wall mounting, including a pole/wall bracket. The weather station with GPS provides current weather data directly to the KNX bus. It is equipped with a heated sensor for measuring wind speed (measuring range 0-12 m/s), a brightness sensor (measuring range 0-150 k Lux), an outdoor temperature sensor (measuring range -30 to +80°C), and a heated precipitation monitor. It also includes a receiver for the GPS signal for time and location determination. All values can be used to control limit-dependent switching channels. Shading control is available for up to 4 facades with slat and shadow edge tracking. There is a possibility for automatic control of thermal protection or heat gain depending on the position of the sun, brightness, and outside temperature. The device can be programmed using the easy commissioning tool, easy configuration server, and the ETS (from version 4).
