Universal Dimmer Actuator 1-channel KNX easy, 1x300W, ESL/LED. The Universal Dimmer Actuator REG is designed for switching and dimming, as well as for automatic detection of the load type (autodetect method). With the Easydetect method, the dimming range is optimized, either via the push-button mode on the external sensor, on the device, or through an object. It is a DIN rail-mounted device with an integrated bus coupler, QuickConnect terminal blocks for auxiliary voltage, KNX bus connection, load connection, and labeling field.

The device features control buttons for manual operation with a status LED (single-surface operation) and a backlit dimming mode button. Control LEDs indicate short circuit, overload protection, and overheating protection. A toggle switch allows selection between auto/min/max/manual, and there is a backlit programming button.

Functions: Switching and dimming of loads (observe manufacturer’s load specifications). Dimming channel selection for dimming, on/off, timer function with switch-off pre-warning, forced control with respective status indication, and an activatable/deactivatable automatic function. Up to 64 scene functions can be set per channel. Manual operation for switching and dimming without the bus is possible. The status object of the output is defined by the current flow through the light source.

Note: The device can be programmed using the easy commissioning tool, easy configuration server, or ETS (from version 4). Conventional transformers must not be connected together with electronic transformers.
