GZR Smart Rear Light, 100 lm

The GZR Smart Rear Light makes cycling safer and more practical. The automatic on and off function turns the light off by itself when not in use, helping to save battery and avoid situations where the light is forgotten to be turned off. This feature works in all light modes.

With an output of 100 lumens, it ensures good visibility during night rides. Six different light modes, including a brake light and an emergency flash, allow you to choose a suitable option for each situation. The USB-C charging makes it easy to recharge the battery, and the 420 mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of use in the slowest flashing mode. The package includes a quick-release strap, making it convenient to attach the light to seat posts of all sizes. Additionally, the light features a magnetic quick release, allowing for easy removal from the mount for charging.

By law, bicycles must use lights at dusk and darkness. There are also rational reasons for using lights on bicycles, as a driver can recognize a bicycle with a light in time. Legally, a bicycle must have a front light that emits white or bright yellow light during dusk and darkness. Since January 1, 2015, it has also been permissible to use a comparable light attached to the cyclist instead of a fixed mounted light on the bicycle, such as a headlamp. As of June 1, 2020, a bicycle must also have a rear light that shines red during dusk and darkness. Orange or white spoke reflectors or reflective tire bands enhance visibility.
