Ground Zero GZRC 165SQ.2 is a well-sounding 6.5" 2-way component set from the Ground Zero Radioactive collection. The design goal of the Ground Zero GZRC 165.SQ series was to achieve the best possible sound quality in its price range. The design effectively utilized Klippel optimization, which allows for the functional refinement of the speaker element's structure. The components perform excellently in typical car installation locations. Instead of enclosures, the mid-bass performs better when installed in the doors, eliminating the need for separate enclosures. The mid-bass features an aluminum cone and a rubber suspension. A lower than normal 3-ohm impedance helps extract more power from the source or amplifier. The tweeter is a silk dome type. The crossovers include a three-step level control for the highs and a high-pass frequency control that helps to optimally adjust the sound to the installation location. Speaker grilles are included.
