The Flite Test Edge is based on the Zivko Edge 540 V3, a great aerobatic aircraft and a popular choice among pilots competing in the Red Bull Air Races. The FT Edge captures the design lineage of the real Edge and offers a wide range of flight maneuvers, allowing for everything from smooth to extreme aerobatic performances. This aircraft is of interest to both sport pilots and 3D pilots alike.

The Kit
The FT Edge features a removable, one-piece wing, making it easy to transport in smaller vehicles. The large canopy provides easy access to the battery and other electronics. It also includes optional landing gear, wheel shoes, and sideforce generators (SFG) that allow you to customize the model to your preferences.

This aircraft has been customized to my personal preferences as a pilot, optimizing the design for 3D aerobatics with large control surfaces, enabling the plane to perform as well as you can as a pilot. The model boasts a good power-to-weight ratio paired with our Power Pack C, which provides enough power for vertical climbs while keeping the aircraft light enough for low and slow aerobatic maneuvers. These features make this aircraft suitable for both experienced 3D pilots and novice aerobatic pilots, serving as a platform to enhance your flight experience.
