Amazon does not support DFS in the 5 GHz WLAN in either of its two players and only outputs the UHD videos streamed on the Fire TV 4K at a maximum of 30 frames per second. Most Amazon customers will probably come to terms with this, because for online customers the 69-euro annual subscription for Prima including the online video store is an extremely attractive overall package...

Amazon only outputs UHD videos streamed on the Fire TV 4K with a maximum of 30 frames per second. Those who value 60 Hz and have a corresponding 4K TV with HDCP 2.2 are better served with the Chromecast Ultra. On the other hand, Amazon offers an extremely attractive overall package with Prima for 69 euros per year.
Google is charging a hefty 80 euros for the improved Chromecast version called ?Ultra? the normal Chromecast, which is still sold, costs half as much. The most obvious difference is the 4K and HDR support. - Supports UHD, HDR and Dolby Vision
- Large programme selection
- Smartphone operation
- Video formats restricted
The play partner for smartphone and tablet. Anyone who taps away on their mobile device while watching TV anyway will get great cinema here.
The Chromecast is technically convincing even in the Ultra HD version. Its dilemma: almost all suitable UHD televisions are smart TVs that can bring videos from Netflix and YouTube onto the screen themselves and in the same quality. At least on the German market, there is therefore hardly any potential for the Chromecast Ultra.
