The Last Meter: You have already installed a patch cable in your rooms, for example, behind shelves, under laminate flooring, or behind baseboards. Until now, the length was sufficient for your device, but after rearranging the furniture, the existing cable is no longer long enough. You are missing the "last meter." Instead of replacing the entire patch cable, simply connect a patch cable extension in the length that suits you to your end device.

Protection for Your Device: Protect the port of your laptop, for instance, by using this patch cable extension. With frequent plugging and unplugging of the patch cable, it is not the port of your laptop that is stressed, but rather the port of the extension. This eliminates the possibility of an expensive repair for your laptop.

This RJ45 patch cable extension is compatible with all standard devices featuring an RJ45 interface, such as computers, laptops, DSL modems, routers, switches, game consoles, TVs, and many more. The patch cable is double-shielded with additional shielding for the twisted pairs. Thus, it is gigabit-capable, suitable for your fast DSL connection. The patch cable is, of course, backward compatible with older devices and installations of categories Cat. 5 and Cat. 5e.

RJ45 Connector with Locking Tab Protection: The RJ45 connector features a locking tab protection (LTP). This prevents the locking tab on the top of the connector from bending. The twisted pairs consist of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), allowing for enhanced signal transmission of the cable.
