In the Witcher world, mages are powerful beings who roam the continent. They are often involved in both small and large political intrigues. Like witchers, they hunt beasts—not for trophies, but to obtain valuable ingredients necessary for potion-making. In the Old World, filled with dangerous creatures, everyone strives to earn their fame.

The Witcher: Old World – Mage Expansion introduces 5 new playable characters along with all the components they need: figures, unique decks, and boards that represent their abilities. Although they differ from witchers, we can use both types of heroes in a game with minor modifications, and each will develop and fight in their own way.

What is The Witcher: Old World?

It is an adventure board game that takes players on a journey through a fantastic world full of dangers, secret magic, dark secrets, and extraordinary places just waiting to be discovered. The game is set in the beloved Witcher universe, many years before the events of the Geralt of Rivia saga, during a time when a monster plague ravaged the continent. Only witchers could combat this—professional assassins trained to fight against hostile creatures.
