The gameplay of this expansion means you must track down and kill a legendary monster to win. It appears at the start on the continent and moves across the board in subsequent rounds, leaving destruction represented by special game tokens. Meanwhile, the Witchers train, collect trophies, and gain fame as they prepare for the final battle.

What is Witcher: Old World? It is an adventure board game that takes players on a journey through a fantastic world filled with dangers, arcane magic, dark secrets, and extraordinary places just waiting to be discovered. The game is set in the beloved Witcher universe, many years before the events of the Geralt of Rivia saga, at a time when a monster plague ravaged the continent.
