This transforms the Gira HomeServer 4 into a central computer that manages the networking of modern buildings and their technical equipment both internally and with the outside world. Operation is carried out via state-of-the-art communication media. In addition to a PC, access can also be made through other internet-enabled devices connected to a LAN, an internal WLAN, or the internet. This allows KNX functions to be controlled and managed from anywhere. Comfortable control devices for the Gira HomeServer 4 include the Gira SmartSensor, Gira Control 9 Client, Gira Control 19 Client 2, and the Gira Interface Apps for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Android. An app for Apple devices is available in the Apple Store. For Android devices, an app is available in the Google Play Store.
