Subnautica is an exploration and adventure game set in an unlimited underwater world. It is developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the makers of Natural Selection 2.

Features: Dive into an overwhelming underwater world. After a crash landing on an unknown water planet, the only way is into the depths. Subnautica's oceans range from sun-drenched coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea trenches. Watch your oxygen as you dive through kelp forests, overgrown plains, reefs, and caves. The underwater world is teeming with creatures, some useful, but many dangerous.

Collect, build, and survive. Barely regaining consciousness in the escape pod, you're already running out of time to find water, food, and build equipment. Gather resources in the surrounding ocean, build pocket knives and torches, dive gear, and gliders. Venture deeper and further to find rarer resources for better items.

Disrupt the food chain. The ocean is full of life. Use the ecosystem to your advantage. Distract dangerous creatures with fresh fish, lure them away, or simply use your legs to escape the snapping mouths of roaming predators.

Fear the night. When the sun goes down, the predators come out. In the darkness, the ocean mercilessly punishes the unwary. Regions that were harmless by day hold treacherous dangers by night, but also reveal unseen beauty.

Shape the world. Subnautica's seafloor is based on a dynamic voxel terrain system. Dig caves to hide, camp, or take shortcuts. Ship collisions and exploding creatures affect the appearance of the world.

Deeper than the deep sea. Cave systems, some dark and narrow, others vast and illuminated by bioluminescent life, extend beneath the ocean floor. Explore the world below, but watch your oxygen supply and escape the threats in the darkness.
