Garmin Varia RTL515

The Varia RTL 515 radar provides visual and acoustic alerts to warn of vehicles approaching from behind at a distance of up to 140 meters. This way, you can see what’s happening behind you while riding. The smart and compact radar can be paired with the Edge cycling computer or a compatible smartphone, as well as with certain Garmin wearables or the optional radar display unit. With the smartphone app, you receive alerts on your phone. This is facilitated by graphical representations and audio and vibration alarms that indicate the position and speed of approaching cars. Drivers are alerted to your presence as early as possible, thanks to daylight visibility of up to 1.6 kilometers. This ensures your safety even on country roads.
