From the peaks of the Alps to the beaches of Sicily, this topographic map at a reference scale of 1:5,000 allows for the planning of diverse routes for hiking and mountaineering. It features expanded detailed coverage in the Aosta Valley, the Marche region, and Sicily. There is a particularly extensive network of approximately 200,000 km of paths and trails for recreational activities in Italy, including official trails from the Italian Alpine Club, regional tourist offices, and national and regional parks. It includes the Sentiero Italia, a hiking trail over 6,000 kilometers long that runs throughout Italy. ActiveRouting allows you to customize and plan routes across the entire network of roads, paths, and trails. The activity-specific map highlights suggested routes as well as special cycling and hiking paths. Searchable addresses with house numbers are available for the entire country. A digital elevation model with elevation contours at 20-meter intervals is included. It is compatible with our free BaseCamp™ software, which allows you to plan trips on your computer and transfer routes and waypoints to your compatible device.

This includes the regions of Aosta Valley, Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, autonomous province of Trento, Veneto, autonomous province of Bolzano, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Sardinia, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Calabria, Basilicata, Apulia, and Sicily. The green-shaded geographical area includes data with standard topographic details at a scale of 1:25,000.
