Garmin Running sensor
Product details
Connect your watch to a running sensor to receive distance data when training indoors, such as on a treadmill, or when GPS is not available. Additionally, the sensor measures cadence (steps per minute) for each activity. The running sensor also provides distance and cadence data when used with the FR70 series.
It is always ready for use and is powered by a small, replaceable battery that lasts for a year.
Unlike simple pedometers, this running sensor utilizes advanced MEMS inertial sensor technology to analyze movements. It also responds to changes in stride length, allowing speed and distance to be measured with an accuracy of 98%.
