The nüvi 56LMT emphasizes user-friendly GPS navigation to help you get from point A to point B more easily. The bright 5-inch display can be used in either portrait or landscape mode. The all-inclusive package of the nüvi 56LMT features lifetime map updates as well as a lifetime premium traffic license. New premium features such as the traffic splitscreen, favorite POIs along the route, and enhanced turn-by-turn directions including street names and current traffic information leave nothing to be desired.

Das Verhältnis aus Preis und Leistung ist beim Garmin NÜVI 56 LMT als eine Stärke zu werten. Zu einem fairen Preis bekommt man ein ordentliches Navi. Dieses hat im Grunde keine echten Highlights zu bieten und gerade der Bildschirm könnte etwas besser sein, insgesamt führt es jedoch zuverlässig ans Ziel.

Das Garmin NÜVI 56 LMT ist ein Navi mit guter Sprachansage und Display, wobei die Routenführung prima ist. Bei der Routenberechnung lässt sich das Modell jedoch etwas länger Zeit und die Nutzungsdauer mit Akku ist ebenso wenig optimal. Zudem muss man auf Fußgängernavigation und Sprachansage verzichten, die Ausstattung ist darüber hinaus jedoch vielseitig.
