Bei der Laufzeit des Akkus kann das Garmin Nüvi 2797LMT keine Pluspunkte sammeln, hier sind die Resultate eher schwach. Dies bleibt jedoch die einzige echte Schwäche des Navis, es überzeugt durchweg mit guter Leistung. So führt es zielsicher an den gewünschten Ort, die Handhabung ist leicht und auch die vielseitige Ausstattung gefällt.
Beim Garmin 2797LM kann der Kunde ebenfalls auf einen kostenpflichtigen Live-Service zugreifen, muss dazu aber auch die Datenverbindung seines Smartphones nutzen. Ansonsten bleibt es beim TMC-Empfang, unverständlicherweise hat der Hersteller das TMC-Kabel aber nicht in das Ladekabel integriert...
Das Garmin ist ein gutes Mittelklkassenavi, das erstaunlich gut auf Sprachbefehle reagiert. Zudem führt es zielsicher an den Ort, den man vorher eingegeben hat, wobei die Routenführung teils seltsam anmutet. Das riesige Display macht einfach Spaß und ist extrem gut abzulesen, wobei große Patzer es sich im Test nicht erlaubte.
