With the indoor running profile, the watch's motion sensor can also measure distance on a treadmill. All available profiles can be fully customized to meet the individual needs of athletes.

The fēnix 2 is equipped with a highly sensitive barometric altimeter and compass. Calibration occurs automatically via the GPS receiver to ensure data accuracy. The built-in barometric altimeter provides elevation data to accurately monitor ascents and descents, and the barometer can predict weather changes by displaying short-term trends in air pressure. The electronic 3-axis compass maintains its bearing, whether in motion or stationary. When paired with our optional temperature sensor, Tempe, you receive accurate readings of the ambient temperature.
