In a magnetic mount with power supply, the DriveLuxe is securely held and charged while driving. The selectable orientation allows for display in both landscape and portrait modes. The DriveLuxe detects when it has been rotated and automatically adjusts the display. The TMC receiver is built into the device rather than the cable, so only a standard charging cable is included in the package.

Für Vielfahrer ist das DriveLuxe trotz des hohen Anschaffungspreises eine gute Investition. Zuverlässige Navigation auch ohne Internet und einfachste Bedienung ? da muss sich das Smartphone geschlagen geben. Etwas nervig ist die hakelnde Sprachsteuerung. Aber vielleicht lässt Garmin außer den lebenslangen Karten-Updates bald auch eine verbesserte Spracherkennung springen.
