Fujitsu Support Pack Hardware / TopUp
The Support Pack Hardware extends the warranty of a hardware product. It refers to a service contract that includes product support for a specific hardware product over a defined service period, for which a fixed price is paid in advance. Support Packs can be purchased within 90 days of product acquisition for a contract duration of 1 to 5 years. Before the expiration, the service duration can be extended (up to the maximum contract duration of 5 years) by entering into a corresponding follow-up contract for the Support Pack.
The service duration begins exactly on the original purchase date of the relevant hardware product. The service is provided as soon as a one-time payment, required at the time of purchasing the Support Pack, is made and the service is activated. Support Pack Hardware and TopUp are offered as nearly identical services, differing only in their sales and ordering processes: a TopUp must be purchased together with the product, and the end-user registration occurs automatically. A Support Pack can be purchased separately and must be registered by the end-user.
