USB 2.0 Hi-Speed to MPSSE cable with FTDI chip. The USB 2.0 Hi-Speed to MPSSE cables contain a small internal electronic board with the FTDI FT232H, encapsulated at the end of the cable with the USB connector. This chip handles all USB signaling and protocol processing. The cables provide a fast and easy way to connect devices with 3.3V or 5V digital interfaces to USB. Based on the single-chip USB Hi-Speed FT232H device, compatible with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480 Mbit/s) and Full Speed (12 Mbit/s). Complete USB protocol handling on the chip, no USB-specific firmware programming required. USB Type A connector for direct connection to a host or hub. Powered via the USB bus. Fully supported hardware or X-On / X-Off software handshake operation. Synchronous serial (MPSSE) data rates of up to 30 Mbit/s on JTAG, SPI, and I²C. 1 kByte receive and transmit buffer for high data throughput. LED driver signals for sending and receiving. Adjustable timeout for receive buffer. Support for sleep mode and wake-up via USB. Low operating and USB suspend current, low consumption at USB bandwidth. UHCI / OHCI / EHCI host controller compatible. Operating temperature range: –40 °C to +85 °C. Cable length: 1800 mm.
