Electronically safe Active Inverter Technology is the most intelligent form of charging. The innovative concept is based on the combination of a digital control loop, dU/dt cut-off, and an inverter with active rectification. The digital control loop maintains a constant charging current and voltage during charging. Any fluctuations in mains voltage are compensated, and the battery is charged gently. Active reaction characterizes the technology behind the dU/dt cut-off, responding to the state of charge and age of the battery while actively adjusting the programmed charging characteristic. The charge is terminated at the ideal time, when the voltage reaches its maximum. This eliminates overcharging, reducing water consumption and extending the life of the battery by up to 50%.
