The soundproof plate in the lid can be removed to accommodate additional fans or a radiator in the top. However, the motherboard along with RAM sticks must not exceed 35 mm in height. To effectively and quietly cool the hardware, the case supports the installation of custom water coolers. The Nano S features a base plate for mounting pumps, while reservoirs can be installed on a mounting system in front of the motherboard. A 280 mm radiator with dimensions up to 147 x 312 mm can be installed at the front. Two SSDs can be mounted behind the motherboard tray, and a data storage device (2.5 or 3.5 inches) can be attached via a bracket in front of the two SSDs on the mounting system. An additional HDD or SSD can be installed in front of the power supply on the pump bracket. The controls of the I/O panel are located on the front cover in front of the lid and include two USB 3.0 ports and two audio jacks. After removing the front panel, access to the magnetically attached dust filter is gained. Another dust filter covers the entire bottom and is also removable.
