Firecrest ND are revolutionary ND filters from Formatt-Hitech. In contrast to standard resin filters, these filters are extremely neutral and do not show any color cast. The filters are made of 2mm Schott Superwite glass. The coating is glued in the middle to ensure an even higher scratch resistance. Firecrest Filters are neutral over all colour spectra, including UV, visible and infrared. These gradient filters guarantee a soft gradient into a clear range. The reduction ranges from 1 to 4 apertures.

Formatt's resin filters are ultra-flat, have excellent contrast values and are completely transparent for the visible light spectrum. Formatt's resin material has the highest scratch resistance of all glassless optical materials and is resistant to most solvents, chemicals, aging and material fatigue. Thanks to their light weight and portability, resin filters are the logical choice for photographers and cameramen who use the latest cameras and large format sensors.
