Flötotto PRO 6 swivel chair

PRO 6 Chair Series. Almost everyone who sat in a classroom during the second half of the 20th century knows Flötotto – as most of the furniture in German classrooms comes from the company based in Gütersloh. As a patented Flötotto form seat, the flexibly designed shells of the millions of produced student chairs allow for ergonomically optimal, dynamic sitting. This concept is once again taken up by this furniture series, making it attractive for offices and cozy homes, as well as for adults. PRO 6 swivel chair with gas lift base. Under the design direction of Konstantin Grcic, an even more optimized seat shape made of polypropylene was created, reflecting the current state of research: its distinctive curve not only promotes a healthier posture but also looks impressively bold. The swivel chair features a plastic-covered base with five wheels. The seat height can be individually adjusted via gas pressure (43 – 51 cm with a constant seat depth of 42 cm and a 4.5° tilt). The color palette of the PRO 6 chair series by Flötotto aligns with the aesthetic ideals of furniture design legend Le Corbusier. Awards include the reddot design award 2012, Interior Innovation Award at IMM Cologne 2012, iF product design award 2013, and German Design Award 2014.
