Fiamm FG20451 PB Lead-Gel Battery

The Fiamm FG20451 battery is a completely maintenance-free FG lead battery with dimensions of 90 x 70 x 102 mm and 4.8 mm Faston terminals. The battery has proven to be highly effective for electric starting in lawn mowers such as the Sabo 35583 and is widely purchased. The built-in highly absorbent microporous separator binds a maximum amount of pure electrolyte, permanently isolating the electrodes from each other. This allows you to operate the FG20451 lead battery in any position, whether upright, sideways, or even upside down; the capacity remains constant and does not diminish.

Due to the special antimony-free lead alloy of the electrodes, the FG20451 PB battery has an incredibly low self-discharge rate of about 3% per month. The housing is made of ABS plastic, making the exterior of the battery shock and break resistant as well as completely corrosion and aging resistant. FG lead accumulators are generally deep discharge safe. After a deep discharge of the FG20451, it can be easily recharged; however, it is essential to ensure that the battery is fully charged after each discharge. Batteries with the same capacity can be connected in series or parallel without splitting the charge, but they must be from the same batch.

At approximately 20 °C, the manufacturer Fiamm specifies a service life of up to 5 years.
