Campbell acquired what became known as the "Red Dog" from a former guitar student in Florida, complete with a Bigsby tremolo and a powerful built-in boost known as the "Destruct" circuit. Mike's legendary 1972 Red Dog Telecaster®, featured on the Damn the Torpedoes track "Refugee," produced the unforgettable melody and is seen in the accompanying music video.
