The Carbon II is a one-piece hybrid vacuum tube amplifier with an on-board iPod dock. It features two pairs of RCA connections for additional audio sources and a third input on a stereo 3.5mm jack, suitable for mobile phones.
The Carbon II has a significant increase in power to 28 watts per channel and includes all speaker cables and connectivity cables. In addition to working with all current iPod devices, the Carbon II is compatible with the iPhone 3G in “flight-safe” mode, allowing for both charging and music playback. It is also available as a complete system that includes speakers, and this amplifier is recognized as a market leader in its category.
The iTube ValveDock Carbon Edition comes complete with a full-function remote control.
It is packaged with a pair of high-quality 2-way bookshelf speakers, finished in matching high-gloss piano black.
