Falcon Eyes Control Unit CX-824 for RX-824

The CX-824 from Falcon Eyes is a separate control unit designed to operate the flexible LED mat RX-824. The controller features an LCD display that allows you to manage the lighting. With a sound output of just 33.5 dB (@ 0.5 m), the controller is ideal for video productions as it produces almost no noise. The control unit is equipped with automatic cooling. You can power the controller via mains power or with optional V-Mount batteries.

In addition to power and color temperature, you can use a variety of special modes on this controller:

• CCT Mode: Brightness and color temperature (2800 K - 10,000 K)

• RGB Mode: Set any color (from 0 to 255)

• HSI Mode: Hue, saturation, and intensity (0 to 100%)

• Filter Mode: 20 Rosco filters and 20 Lee filters

• Theme Mode: Strobe light, candlelight, thunderstorm (speed adjustable)

What is unique about the new RX-800 series from Falcon Eyes, which includes the RX-824, is that you can control the unit not only via the OLED touchscreen but also through your smartphone. This allows you to operate the flexible LED lamp from greater distances without needing to be constantly near the controller. Free apps for Android and iOS (Bluetooth 5.0) are available for smartphone operation. Finally, you can also control the unit via DMX.
