Product details

The EX-3608 converter can be used as a replacement for a 3.5" hard drive or SSD. A SATA 3 connection on the motherboard or a SATA 3 controller is required to connect the EX-3608. It can accommodate two M.2 SSD modules of types 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 with B-Key, as well as two mSATA modules in Half Size or Full Size. The EX-3608 supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD. Additionally, a bracket for vertical installation in the PC is included. The integrated ASM1092R high-performance processor supports two M.2 NGFF 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 boards. At the same time, two additional SATA 2 devices can be connected. The converter is 100% mechanically compatible with a 2.5" mounting frame in the 9.5 mm form factor. The RAID mode can be switched between RAID 0 (fast), RAID 1 (secure), and JBOD (volume) via hardware, either through strapping or a GUI controller. The 22-pin SATA (signal and power) connector supports SATA 3 Revision 3.1 and is operating system independent, requiring no drivers.
