The EX-11072 USB 3.0 PCI-Express card provides two external and two internal Super-Speed USB 3.0 ports. It is designed to connect four additional USB 1.1, 2.0, or 3.0 devices to your workstation, desktop, or server. It supports USB 1.1 Low-Speed (1.5 Mbps), Full-Speed (12 Mbps), USB 2.0 High-Speed (480 Mbps), and USB 3.0 Super-Speed (5 Gbps). It is the perfect technology for external storage enclosures, digital cameras, webcams, scanners, and more. To support the 900 mA power requirement at the external or internal USB 3.0 port, a power connection from the PC power supply is needed. The internal 20-pin header USB 3.0 connector is compatible with motherboards. The adapter kit EX-11070 with 2 x USB 3.0 sockets is included, along with a low profile bracket.
